New Decorative Wall Finishes

I absolutely love transforming rooms, as some of you well know, but I especially enjoy working with other talented artists to discover really beautiful wall finishes that I haven't used before.  I worked on these this week and they are attributed to a wonderful artist named Cathy Carroll out of Chicago.  I can't wait to use them for clients! Thank you Cathy for some great training and certifications!!

Antique Mirror, Hand Aged with Vintage Map

This design was fun to work with!  We searched for a really cool vintage map that I could apply to this great antique mirror we picked up in Tennessee.  The process took several days, but the hand-aging and resulting patina played nicely with the overall look I was going for.  The possibilities are really limited only by your imagination with this type of mirror art.  A family photo aged and then applied to a vintage mirror would result in a really unique, heirloom quality addition to a home or vacation home.

Gorgeous Glass top Table with Eglomise Gilding

This table is heavy and ready to liven up any dining, living, office or library.  The glass top was gilded with various metallic foils and acrylics to create a vivid and eye-catching design.  I hope you love it as much as I!

Had some ideas that I just had to put to work!

Don't worry, I'll have photos of the final product for the Dallas Market Center Home & Garden Expo January 15-21!

I love my "work"! ~~Ana

Contemporary Abstract Mirror with Eglomise for a Client in Tennessee

I love how this abstract turned out!  The client wanted something to brighten up his room, but with a more contemporary and abstract look.  This piece was done using metallic foils, mica powders and acrylic paints both brushed and sprayed.  The colors turned out beautifully and really added to his sitting room wall.

A Beautiful Home for these pieces!

These Églomisé mirrors purchased by a local Dallas client ended up exactly where they belong.  This client had very large niches in her stairwell that needed some pizazz and chose to go with comparable designs and frames that had just enough contrast to work perfectly!

Some wonderful Designs for the Holidays!

I recently completed these mirrors and I can't wait for someone to enjoy them in their home! I used a couple different techniques; the first mirror was created using a glass etching process; the next three were done with an Eglomise process wherein I adorned all of the design elements from the back of the mirror.  Each frame was customized to enhance the colors and patterns of the mirrors.

Working on a Beautiful Design for a client!

This Églomisé mirror is turning out great!  I'll post some pics of the finished product later in the week, but I love this design and how it's turning out, so I couldn't wait.
